I used to be one of those people who didn’t take social media seriously. I would post selfies from the beach, or just my lunch or workout. I figured if I was going to have to share a photo of my ass, the best I could do was to make it a photo of what I ate. But when I moved across the country, I had to learn that social media can be your most effective tool to reach an audience.

The main thing I have to add here is that the main reason I choose Facebook, not Twitter, is because I like the platform more than Twitter.

Like many people, I use Facebook as my primary social media platform. I use Twitter to share my thoughts about various political, entertainment, or personal news topics on a regular basis. I use Instagram to take photos of whatever I feel like eating, drinking, and exercising so that I can share them with my friends. I use YouTube to upload videos that I like to share with my friends and family.

But that doesn’t mean I don’t use Twitter. I most certainly do. I use Twitter to make up for the fact that I don’t use Facebook.

Facebook and Instagram are the two most popular social media platforms, but as of this writing there are over 750 million social media users.

Instagram is probably the most popular app in the world because it is both a photo-sharing social network and a visual messaging platform. So not only does Instagram have millions of followers, it also has over a billion camera-ready photos on its platform. (We even took a picture of our dog with our DSLR and that’s where it came from.

When we started to use Instagram we found ourselves getting more and more interested in taking pictures of our family and enjoying them. We also found that Instagram had more and more of us taking pictures of our pets, which is another way that we’re more visual and social. For that reason we decided to start following our dog instead of our parents.

Instagram is a more social site than Facebook for sure, but it has also provided more and more of us with “personal” photos that are more about family or friends. We also use our Instagram account more to share our latest adventures, funny finds, and the like. We use the hashtag #InstaMia, which is a way of saying that we use Instagram to tell our stories and to ask for advice.
