At one point I had a friend request the size limit on the video I was uploading but I told her that it was not a matter of concern as I was uploading it at her request. But then she told me that she had it on her phone and it was a video of an accident and this video was the one she wanted to show the world. I explained the issue and she seemed disappointed that it was a problem.
A video upload size limit is a matter of concern for people with the wrong intentions. To upload a video that is way too large you can either ask the person who requested it to reduce it or you can have the person who requested it contact you to complain. If you only have one friend that will be the person who requests it and then you will probably only have one complaint.
The latter option is really the only option. If you have more than one friend on Facebook then you might be able to find a way to request or complain, but just remember that it may be viewed as spam or “liking” a person who is going to complain to you.
Uploading a video to your own website on Facebook or other similar social network might seem like a quick and easy thing. But if you do it, you run the risk of it being seen as spam or having people view it as a like. It’s like the dreaded message saying “hey, I’m watching the video and I like it”.
So what you have is the opportunity to say something along the lines of “hey I posted this video on my facebook page, but it is actually a link to my website. Please tell me what to do about it.” To me that sounds like spam and I wouldn’t want that on my website.
Basically, a video upload size limit is imposed on facebook by its website. Basically, it means that video uploads are limited to a certain amount of characters in the post. This number is currently 25,000 characters. So if you upload a video with over 25,000 characters in it, it will be seen as spam by facebook. This is a fairly common problem on facebook. If you happen to upload a video with a lot of links, it will also be seen as spam.
This might as well be a good time to remind you that Facebook is one of the biggest social media websites on the web. If you’re into that kind of thing, you’ll probably know that it handles about half of all internet traffic worldwide.
We’ve been hearing that the limit is 25,000 characters for a while now and that the facebook team is aware of it. This is probably because they want people to upload videos that are a little bit smaller than that. But they also wanted to give all the other sites that deal with uploading video a heads up. They don’t want it to get buried under all the other crap that is on the site.
So yes, the upload size limit is on the site. If youve got a site that deals with uploading video, you should be aware of this.
To quote the old saying, “The world is your classroom and the world has gone to school with you.” We have learned that when we need to, and we can go back to our classrooms. There is no way around it. It’s like a small child with a very large teacher.
