This is the most successful of the podcasts. The guests are the best of the best, and OConnor is a very easy interview to sit through. A lot of the podcasts on the internet tend to be very rushed, very wordy, and very preachy. Not so with National Pulse, which is more conversational, more friendly, and very pleasant.

The hosts are just as friendly and relaxed as you think they should be. The guests range from the in-the-know to the very new. The in-the-know are the guys who want to know why you don’t do drugs and how many calories you use in a day, while the new guys are the ones who want to talk about their first job. OConnor is the person who was hired because he’s the best at asking questions.

The hosts are all very helpful and friendly, and the guests are mostly nice too. There’s a good balance here that is very much like one you might find in an online dating profile.

I guess what I’m getting at is that all this “friendly and helpful” stuff is just to make people like you and want to chat. The thing is, you don’t want to chat with strangers on national pulse.com, you want to talk to people who are actually interested in talking to you.
