One of the best and most rewarding aspects of the job is the chance to be connected to a network of other professionals, and to learn from them. So it is with any job, but the opportunity to get to know other people is what makes it truly rewarding. As a social media community manager, you’ll work with a team of around fifty or so individuals and spend a lot of time socializing, learning, and growing your career.
This position is often what I call the “I hate networking” job. I’m sure you’ve experienced this firsthand in your career, or even in your personal life. But what you might not realize is that networking is one of those fun things that you can do that you probably shouldn’t be doing. Like many other jobs, networking is a skill, and requires practice. So don’t be afraid to use it.
The more you know about networking, the more you will have the confidence to do it. In my experience, networking is a great way to start a journey. However that time-loop is a lot more than just a routine. It’s also a lot more than just an excuse for you to do something. It means that you can practice and learn from you friends and find ways to get a better deal.
You can only do so much more than you can learn from others – it’s like you are trying to learn a new skill every day. But its just you who have to learn to do better. You have to learn to trust that others are learning better. Even better is to use your connections to learn. You can learn from your friends or your family, and you can learn from the people you know.
I can’t help but think that this applies not just to social media, but to any area of life where you are needed. You have to be willing to put in the time and effort and put in the effort, otherwise you won’t get anywhere. I think this applies to any field where you are needed to be a role model. Just because you don’t know how to do something doesn’t mean you can’t learn it, and the same goes for social media.

I think this is something that is very important to understand. It’s not just about being a good example, it’s also about being a good leader. It’s so easy to get caught up in that social media game of “I want to be like this,” but that is not the only way that we are judged. We are judged on our actions as well. So the social media community manager needs to be a leader in their own community.
I see this all the time. I’m sure you are one of these people, and I don’t mean to sound like I’m bashing you, but I just don’t understand this type of mentality. I mean, I’m a social media manager at a big media company, and I’m constantly on the lookout for the “best leader” within my organization. But I honestly don’t see what the big deal is.
I think the big deal is how much time you spend in your community. Social media managers are extremely busy people, and they need to dedicate a lot of time to their community. So if you’re looking for a new position, there are plenty of great opportunities out there.
And just like any other job, social media managers are constantly expected to spend more and more time in their communities, and as a result are being paid more for it. But I don’t understand this mentality. I mean, you work so hard to make your community successful, and to make other people want to join it.
