Now that I have been on a lot of social media platforms in my life, I have learned that many people have a tendency to think that their social media content is their “profile”. This is not the case. I like social media profiles because I like the ability to communicate with others on the internet (whether it is a blog, or an online portfolio, or a Facebook page) and also to see what makes other people tick. You can also see how others perceive you. You can see how other people use social media to get their point across. You can see what other people are saying. But be careful of what you say because you can easily be seen as being a bit of a jerk or a narcissist.
