tbt is the new thing to me, something I have been using for almost a year now and I have never stopped using it. I even use it a lot. I am not completely sure what it is, but I know it is something I appreciate.
I think tbt is a “thanks, I just wanted to say it” on your end of a snapchat message. It’s a short, sweet message that you would get if you liked the person you were messaging and their snapchat account wasn’t too busy. I have a couple of tbts on my account, and I think it is a nice way to say “I love you.
Just a note with regards to tbt, I am aware there are some people who are on snapchat/tbbts, but I believe that most tbbts are for those wishing to put their own face to a snapchat image…
I’m not saying that there is anything wrong with tbbts. It is just that one shouldn’t be making snapchat public unless an authentic face is present.
I would say most people who are snapchattbbts do so out of the hope of reciprocating. I have noticed that as of late that the person who has their face attached to a snapchat image is now more likely to reply to the message than the person who has their face off the snapchat image. I don’t know if this is because more people are on snapchat (or in general) or if it is just a matter of the face being more prominent.
I still think snapchat is a great social network. I don’t think it is as good as Facebook though. I think it is great if you are a member of a certain group and don’t want to see every profile of everyone you know. I am not the only one who thinks that way. If you are a member of a certain group, you shouldn’t be able to see others that arent members of that group.
